It's sort of like my own website. By the way, Patrick, where is the link to your Flickr page. I keep mine below in the signature section for easy reference.

Years ago I found horrible porn on Flickr
I just don't go to it
I pay for Pro long time and block all my harmless pics, just because
But Flickr is having burping problems and fixing what is not broke

Alan, don’t expect a of it :-). Perhaps a good idea to add it also to my signature. But after 40 year I’m still a bit unsure about my images.

There used to be more conversation on Flickr on the sites I was a member of. That's fallen off a lot which is too bad.

I am selective as to which I put on FLickr. Most don;t make the grade. I won't put on duds from the ones I shot but what I think are the better ones. Also, I separate mine into groups (albums) of some sort or another. I also tag my shots such as Velvia50, RB67, 35mm, 6x7,4x5, BW, Tmax100, etc. That way, if I'm having a discussion here about lets say Velvia 50 film, I can copy the link of my pictures on FLickr that are tagged Velvia50. Then paste the link here in my post for reference so readers can go there to see my Velvia 50 pictures and what I'm talking about.
Oh I just noticed you second link. That's what I do on FLickr. Thats a better site. Do you need FLickr? The second seems laid out much better with better shots.

I have 10,000 + images on flicker and I shoot a lot things just to see it better
not art
Visual aid
My new MAC has the serial # printed so faint on the bottom of the pedestal I had to put it face down on a bed to shoot a pic of it and enhance that!

I work at a shop fixing electronics.. We're photographing things with our camera phone all the time to read serial numbers. Lawyer fine print got nothing on technology hardware fine print. Power supplies for routers, laptops, etc.. are getting important things like voltages printed in microscopic font perhaps with a laser in low contrast color choices like gray on black. We also keep a desktop digital microscope handy for inspecting damage and sometimes reading things like chip identification.
