aputure fresnel on a Godox COB light

I have looked at videos and reviews - and haven't found a clear answer


I am looking for a fresnel to mount on a vl150 - and other models later - the Aputure looks like a better quality unit compared to other brands for build and quality of light

both units are bowens mounts - so fit isn't the issue

but some buyer reviews say the attachment will work and focus fine on a Godox- some others say the fixture doesn't gather and focus the light on a Godox and is meant only for the Aputure 120 etc

universally the opinion seems to be the Aputure barn doors do not cleanly block light on the fresnel -so I'll stick with the godox there

is anyone here actually using this set up? This will be for studio portrait work.
