Welcome Tom!
Your story is not all that unusual and you've found like minded mostly analog photographers here though most use both.
Louis,
Thanks for the welcome.
Welcome from western PA!
Welcome aboard from South Coast of California.
My daughter is there in Oberlin. Some interesting photo resources there.
Happy snapping.

Good for you, the bottle can be tough.
There is a new day, and gear is still everywhere.
You have an almost impossible number of 'views' today! OOps, the thread has those hits!
Liked a lot!
Still!
Wow, all the fanfare. Thanks folks! Two from western PA, no Browns jokes please. Eric, we're kinda even. My two boys are stationed in Alameda and constantly going to San Diego. Ask your daughter if she's been to the Frank Lloyd Wright house. Interesting place. Tin Can, yeah it can be tough. But I'm very happy to still be here.
Thanks again and Happy Holidays!

This is all I know of ELYRIA, OHIO, maybe it is a famous sigh?

Welcome to LF forum, Tom. One year normally doesn't make one ancient....and those age numbers....totally overrated. Most of the time I delete mine, tho it keeps coming back like a bad app.

Welcome aboard!
Ic, I know where that store WAS. Now I believe its a gym and a music studio upstairs. Only one photo store in town where I managed to score some D-76 and fixer. I asked about 4X5 film..... Leszek, I like your thinking regarding numbers, I'm going to adopt it. Thanks for the welcome John.
Welcome aboard Tom.
This group is made up of smart, helpful and wonderful people. Some might be good looking also:)
John, glad to be aboard. CDO means something else to me. Fancy acronym for OOD. Dick, thank you. Handsome and good looking always wind the race. Right?
Once again thank you all for the welcome. Enjoy this day!
