Custom Bellows UK Ordering Status

Afternoon All,
I have a few Norma Sinar bellows I would like Custombellows.uk to restore in their usual exceptional fashion. I've sent bellows previously and they were quick and wonderfully precise!
Are they accepting orders from the USA? Are they open for business and is covid19 affecting their turnarounds? Finally is shipping delayed from the USA to UK and back UK to USA?
If anybody knows I do appreciate it. I sent an email this morning but it bounced back.

Contact them, they are just returning to work with new social distancing rules in place which will most likely slow production. I have two sets of bellows to send them for samples, and my concern is transient time to and from the UK. Today’s project is to remove the old bellows, box them up and get shipping quotes. If it’s not too expensive I’m thinkI got FedEx rather that the USPS. Will probably check UPS and DHL too.

Thanks Roger!
Will keep trying to email them. And I'll also check with FEDEX and UPS, as well as USPS

Be patient, in the email I received in the wee hours this morning Keith stated that there’s a lot of work to do to get up and running after being shut down for 8 weeks. I’d give him a bit of time to respond and then try again just in case your email slipped through the cracks.

Re: Custom Bellows UK Ordering Status
OK Will do. GREAT to hear they are back up and running. I have two Norma 4x5 tapered bellows to be replaced. Makes sense to send them in in one parcel.
Thanks! :)
Re: Custom Bellows UK Ordering Status
Yes, they're up and running very well again. I ordered a custom set for an unnamed 5x7 Japanese wood camera with some photos and measurements and the custom job fit perfectly upon receipt. They shipped by UPS and I had two sets of new bellows in Alaska within 2 days of shipment, I was highly satisfied. I also had them made at the same time a set of 20 inch bellows to replace a set for a Toyo Robos G 4x5. These came at the same time and were nicely made as well. 120 GBP for the custom folder and 80 GBP for the 20" plus 20 GBP for 2 day shipping to Alaska seemed extremely reasonable.

OK that is good news. Thanks Joseph
Re: Custom Bellows UK Ordering Status
My 4 bellows that I sent to Custom bellows for samples arrived today. I mailed the bellows via USPS International Priority on the 18th so 9 days total transit time. I'll update when my new bellows ship.

Re: Custom Bellows UK Ordering Status
I emailed them this morning and almost immediately received this reply:
Hi Dan
Bellows will be
£94.00 each + postage
If you Could send me your frames via UPS I will refit them
Please put "no commercial value" on the parcel .... stops import duty
Cheers
Keith
Sounds great to me! On my way to UPS right now :)
Re: Custom Bellows UK Ordering Status
Hi
Just to reiterate previous posts we are up and running again after lockdown, seems like everyone’s got their old cameras out to repair during lockdown :) as I have a mountain of work to catch up with. I am doing my best to get work out as fast as I can so please bear with us I will get onto them ASAP
Nice to know we are still in demand as you can imagine it was a very worrying time wether we would survive this pandemic situation, businesses are going down left right and centre through no fault of their own
Stay safe
Keith
