Collinear II no. 6 11 7/8in worth clean & repairing?
I have a box of plate glass camera and dark room equipment from the turn of the century. The collinear II lenses shutter is stuck shut and there is mold on glass behind stuck shutter. Would like someone's opinion on if it's worth sending off and having repaired.
Thanks for any thoughts shared.

You also have a Voigtlander tele attachment which matches the Collinear size you have. These tele attachments have fun names and I can't remember what Voigtlander called these!
From a distance, the front lens looks as it has balsam separation. This doesn't mean it is scrap and the Collinear is an excellent design.
The shutter is a Compound (or branded version) which is the queen of this sort of shutter. Often worth getting them fixed.

Thanks for reply, it says voightlander & son optical New York telephoto no 6, that still works as far as movement goes.
I'm considering sending it in to flutots if they could get the shutter working, I could then get to the lens behind the shutter and clean it.

It looks feels like painted brass.

One of the caps is missing, but the other Carol should have a reserve!
