I think traditionally folks who don’t want to participate any longer just leave and don’t return. Sorry to see you go, though.
We don't delete accounts, but we can de-activate your account if you wish. Use the "Contact us" link at the bottom of most pages to message the moderator group.
A couple of years back Apug deleted upon request the account of a "Sirius Glass" or something like that who, after a while had a change of heart and had it returned apparently with all the earlier posts.
