Re: Fujinon 450 C lens in non original copal shutter?
I might be in luck. The aperture diaphragm starts to dhow up at 6.3. So this should correspond to 12.5? The doubling should then work?! (Awesome if it does). In the meantime I will start looking for a replacement #64 set.
What is the significance of firing the shutter on “T”?

It just holds the shutter blades open so you can observe the diaphragm blades.

Can’t this be done with the preview lever?

Your question was about firing the shutter on "T".

I might have found the scales but in a chrome ring copal shutter 1. Would they be a straight swap over to the black ring one?

Perhaps. You should check first. Fire the shutter on "T", move the diaphragm to as wide as it will go. Then close it very slowly. If the blades first begin to appear when the pointer is at 6.3, the advice is good. Otherwise, not. If they become visible before the pointer is at 6.3, get a new scale. If they become visible after the pointer has passed 6.3, the point on the scale where they become visible corresponds to 12.5. Your shutter's scale is divided into 1/3 stops. Three 1/3 stops closed from f/12.5 is f/18, six is f/25 and so on.
Yes, I thought of your point 2 seconds after I made the post. I have a 65mm f 5.6 Super Angulon, the aperture blades are closed at least halfway when the lens is wide open.
If you need an accurate setup, this isn't a DIY.

I can send you a scan of my factory Black Copal f/12.5 scale so you can print it out and tape it over yours.

That would certainly be helpful while I look for a solution!
Could you scan both upper and lower please?
