Anyone here lusting after the 150mm APO Lanthar f4.5 or Xenotar f2.8
I haven't taken a single LF photo for a year, due to a number of reasons (lack of time, too much work, etc) and I need two things:
- stories of how wonderful these lenses are, and especially from those who currently take them out routinely
- "crazy money" offers to buy them from me :-)

well if a cammed 2.8 Xeno was available for a reasonable price I would jump on it...
I already have a 150mm Apo-Lanthar - fortunately. :)
I bought it within two months after selling my 210mm Apo-Lanthar, since I realised how much I missed it.
It's my most used 150mm, in competition with Heliar, Dagor, Tessar, Xenar, Amatar, Eurynar, Symmar, G-Claron, Germinar-W and a couple of others. Mine has a hint of "yellowing", which mostly works as a weak warmup with colour film. Saves me a filter. :)
I would love the Xenotar, but I have no money, :(. I do deep sky photography so F2.8 would be really nice
how much is an apo lanthar cost in the used market right now?
