3d printed lensboard

Hi all,

Just some fun to share:

Recently got my hands on an older B&L petzval to play with, the question became how to whip up a lens board for the old Calumet Black Beast to test this out on. Got my ruler out and managed to 3d print a lens board specifically for the lens and the retaining ring.

All I had handy was red filament, so I had to prime and spray the boards backside black.

Seems to be light tight, will post some wet plate tests later!

very cool! 3d printing is amazing. i see alot of great 3d files for all sorts of gizmos n gagets, even replacement parts. nice job!

Good for you! Most of my dozen or so lens boards are designed and 3-D printed here at home. They work great.
