Unfamiliar with the X-Rite, but I did get a calibrated strip from Stouffer.
My ESECO densitometer has a tungsten light for transmittance measurements, so while I can do a transmission density calibration and measurement, I am uncertain how I could calibrate it for another type of light source.
Duh did you try X-Rite?
If that's a transmission densitometer, I would just use a Stouffers non-Calibrated, but metered, film strip. They have one that has four or five patches on it. Or, I sometimes like to use a 36 patch strip to check the accuracy through the range of the densitometer.
Thanks, found the Stouffers website
