Compur dialset #0 shutter replacement

I have DAGOR C.P. GOERZ BERLIN 1 : 6.8 / F = 135 mm in dialset Compur size #0. The shutter does not work at slow speeds. When opened in attempt to fix it I found that it had suffered "service". One part seems to be damaged beyond repair.
I would like to use this lens with flash as well, so the question is if there is possibility to use some newer shutter easily (Synchro-Compur, Copal, Prontor in appropriate size)? According to data I found, the threads and overall shutter thickness is the same. Do I have to expect any complications except incorrect aperture markings and difference in aperture blades count which could lead to OOF rendition?
