Godox Lux Senior Retro Camera Flash
Ordered one from BH last week
and yes I will use it on LF
I could not resist the retro expanding reflector blades
and it's rechargeable
I like using flash bulbs in the old Honeywell unit on which the Godox is based
Perhaps on a 4X5 Printed point and shoot
Re: Godox Lux Senior Retro Camera Flash
Sure looks cool.
I wonder if the reflector is big enough to shape the light in a way that is noticeably different from a regular camera flash?
Re: Godox Lux Senior Retro Camera Flash
I guess I will find out
I like to experiment

Man I wanted one of these like 20 years ago. So cool they coming out with things that have that quality that we want to see in images. I wanted to use it on my Holgas and Dianas.
Re: Godox Lux Senior Retro Camera Flash
They sell for $10 on eby
The expensive battery is the money
I think I have 3 that work and flashbulbs
I thing B&H will ship my new one in 2 weeks

just being round and having less of the light coming straight from the tube will give a noticeably smoother look.
Re: Godox Lux Senior Retro Camera Flash
Any follow up on this? Looking for something to use with my stereo realist and vintage 120 folders. I posted something similar on photrio. I wonder if they have tamed the trigger voltage?
Re: Godox Lux Senior Retro Camera Flash
I already paid B&J a month ago
Not yet from them
Amazon sold a few
Now Amazon is $10 cheaper, in stock
https://www.amazon.com/Temperature-R...ps%2C91&sr=8-3
The new flash is really designed for DIGI as the GN is low
I use real flash bulbs with film

Re: Godox Lux Senior Retro Camera Flash
Watch the 3 videos on Amazon
I won’t buy the other one as it uses AAA
