As I think about this problem I think setting the focus of the image at the front element of a lens say a 150mm lens and then adjusting final focus like you would with any landscape scene might do the trick.
Couple of things I wonder about
1. reversing the lens
2. effect on magnification of image onto the 4x5 film. Obviously the increase in size is about 2.5 times assuming a 2in starting image circle.
Once I get the interface down, it will be deciding which lens and then how each of my scopes affect the focus. I have a 16in RC Truss, 12in RC Truss 10in SCT, and a 102mm refractor
