Wet plate image sharing July 2020
Recently I had the honor to make this triptych of Jimmy Nelson. An amazing photographer who is traveling all over the world and making breathtaking work, mostly analog. His two books 'Before they pass away" and 'Homage to Humanity' are a must have!
Together with the help of Ferry van der Vliet we had a long and intense shoot but both Jimmy and me were extremely happy with the final result.
First two made with Dallmeyer 5d at f6
Last one with 350mm Hermagis at f 4.5
All about 4 secs exposure

Stunning, Mr. Timmermans. I particularly like that second one. Thankyou for drawing our attention to Jimmy Nelson and for the book recommendations, also. Both are very much appreciated.
.. And I see you've made these photographs in 2029! I, for one, am greatly relieved to know you're still making wonderful imagery nine years hence [emoji5]
