Images that lay dormant, undeveloped for years, now found
Last weekend as I went to develop some pictures I'd done in Fallon NV on the old Lincoln Highway section of town, I came across 2 film holders with dark side of slide showing and no clue of when or where they were exposed. Does anyone else do that? 10 4X5's or 5 8X10's is the magic number for the JOBO, so occasionally film holders will be stored away with good intentions, and then years elapse.
I've been guilty of saying, well if it wasn't important enough to develop then, in the trash it goes, lost forever. Here are a couple that were luckier. 2 spots left in the 3010 tank, so soup them and see what they are. I'm tickled to have them both! In the future I'll be more careful about not just throwing stuff away because it's laid around the darkroom in some drawer, or worse, stuck in some backpack.
If you have some examples; show them here. Only category is lost and found.

We should all be so lucky. Good thing you didn't throw that film away!

I have some film I shot in 1991 (4x5 plus-X) that I have not gotten around to developing yet. I was on hiatus from 4x5 for several years and got back into it in recent years. I hung onto the holders all that time, will develop them someday soon. I remember what they are of, and the subject has changed a lot in the meantime so it will be an interesting time capsule.
