Hello, everyone! I’m making the leap to large format after spending years (well, decades now, I guess) swimming around in the 35mm and medium format end of the pool. I’ve owned a paint-can 4x5 pinhole camera for a long time, though I never used it, and my ex-wife (who has an actual BFA in Photography) has a Crown Graphic, which also never got used. Now, though, I’ve acquired a 9x12 camera and am excited to use it. Cut film, glass plates (including ambrotypes), and tintypes are all now within my reach and I can’t wait to try them all. Now that I’ll have sheet film around, I’ll even give that pinhole camera a go!
