Here are some dried flowers (thus good 'n' dead) on the door to the mausoleum where Leland, Jane and Leland Stanford Junior (after whom the University where I work is named) are interred. Directly and indirectly fits your "Something Dead" theme.

I can't remember if I posted this up here yet or not, anyway, saw the dead crow in my driveway about 2 months ago. So what did I do? I grabbed the 4x5 :D
