New guy from Germany

Hi from Germany,

Im a passionate photomicrographer from Germany, that got interested in large format lenses. I adapted my first buy, a (German?) casket lens „EXCELSIOR I“, to my Nikon Z50. I’m planning to buy a cheap full frame camera (Canon EOS 5D), which should be better suited for this.

It’s so much fun to shoot manually with this lens. I like the soft, dreamy look. I’m planning to get a <90mm Petzval (this will take a while) and another short lens with small DOF.
