Re: Large Format Landscapes
Nguss, that is quite nice. Did you use a GND filter? Honestly, I haven't ever liked Ektar, but my images never look like that, color-wise and exposure-wise (that is, if you didn't use a GND. Off-hand, I'd assume you would need a 3-stop one for that image?).
What ISO do you rate it at? Someone once told me to try it at ISO 200, which I was hesitant to do.

Thank you all for the really kind comments. I was quite amazed at how it came out personally as the light at the time was not great, so seeing it when I got it back was a nice surprise. I think I missed the best of the light setting up and trying to decide whether to use LF or digital (doh). Corran I rated the film at 100 and used a 2 stop grad to bring the sky down from +4 to +2 (as I thought I would meter it as I would Velvia 100).

Re: Large Format Landscapes
This is a stunner! How do you find Shangahi film? I am considering an 8x10 camera and this film seems reasonably priced.
Re: Large Format Landscapes
Hmm so far so good, a little flat when developed though. I have had small problems with one of the batches though (random marks on film) So still wouldn't trust it for the all important shots.
Re: Large Format Landscapes
That's very helpful, thanks.
