It was my pleasure to spend the day of March 20th photographing Hobcaw Barony near Georgetown, SC. It is simply a great for photography, no crowds, great subjects from the low country of South Carolina, plus items from the area history. Worth a Google search or much better a visit.
This shot is of a slave village from the rice plantation age. Shown are the church, and the building use as a doctor’s office. This is not the one of the grand churches shown so often.

The doors are opened, but blocking entrance, by a decorative iron gate, which happened to be clossed that day. Yet, it allowed the fallen sycamore leaves to blow in. :)

I have no words, this is too good.
I did not consider another exposure. I was in the middle of the desert, at night, and had been there since sundown (about 4 hours total). I also took some when the sun was hitting it straight on at sunset. It was hard enough to focus as is in the dark, and I think it would have made the church too dark. I can always photoshop in a better moon.
