I like the smoothness of this lens at f8/f11 under slightly overcast conditions. Don't like my tripod/camera/self reflection, but that's hard to avoid shooting cars from the side.
I can't think of any greater honor than having folks posting excellent photos in a thread with my name on it! The Stude is a fine shot, and they have improved with age, but never my favorite. In my youth I had one of each, '55, '56, '57 Thunderbird, so of course I wouldn't give a Studebaker a second look.

Attachment 77334On Nov. 7 1811 this creek would have been filled with 500 Indian braves .. This creek runs behind the tippicanoe battle field where Harrison and his army was directed ( by the indians) to camp..
By all accounts the Indians won this battle by killing most of the high ranking officers but stopped fighting at day break for reasons unknown.. I photograph this area quite often and I always have a surreal calmness come over me while im here.. I'm 1/16th Shawnee Indian

That's gorgeous Steve! I had to take it and invert it in photoshop to see if it was a negative!!
Here's a new one from me. 405 Kodak on 2D 8X10

Steve ... Those shots are absolutely dreamy ... Very, very nice.
Jim ... Please quit posting the Kodak 405 shots ... They are gorgeous ... I don't have one and I'm trying to convince myself that I don't need one.

Is this in Galli style?

4x5 Ilford HP5+
Speed Graphic
Wollensak Verito 210mm f/4 Soft Focus
Stand developed in Rodinal 1:100 for 1 hour. 1 minute initial agitation.
Haven't had much luck with the Verito yet. All my negatives have been thin even in mid-day sun. Doing pretty good with focus though. Even wide open I had about 6 out of 7 in focus hand held with the Speed Graphic. Instead of calibrating the rangefinder to the lens (not even sure it could at 210mm) I just match the focus between the rangefinder and groundglass and lock the focusing bed and use my feet.
