Big Church, Small Church - Sparks, GA
I drove by this church about a decade ago. I thought the little mini-church serving as the sign was really unique. Always wanted to make a photo of it, so I stopped by on the way back north during my roadtrip at about 7am. That's the moon overhead.

gdi, these are intriguing ideas; admirably thoughtful work. Your first image is arresting and very effective. The composition of the second contains similar ironies that are provocative to explore. however,if you will forgive my voicing my personal opinion here, the print lacks the quality of the first.

Ulophot may have point, depending upon what the poster's intent was. I guess I'd print it more like this, consistent with the striking first image.

I drive by this just about every day - the last remnants of Auraria, GA. This store, originally named "Woody's," was apparently open until the 1980s. While everyone knows Dahlonega as the "Gold Rush" town, Auraria was actually one of the first boom towns of the gold rush (Auraria stems from aurum, Latin for gold and the reason it is Au on the periodic table).

I like the effect! It has an "old time" look. What filter did you use?
