Minivent is for coating paper for alt processes like pt/pd. The small vent takes the toxic heavy metal fumes away from me while I coat and dry the paper.Quote:

The point was you're draining fixer into the ground... Please don't... I mean, it's one thing to wash down the drain, which is processed by a facility vs pouring it straight into the ground. It's the final washes. It's not used fixer. I don't process nearly enough to pose any threat from the residual fixer/silver content.
