Welcome back! Even the sculpture is nice.
Why were you gone?
I have never been gone... (been in here every day...) But sometimes my energy/inspiration dry out... And being a photographer teacher at a school, where I make my images where the students are - doesn't help... It is difficult to get that privacy, often needed...
Gandolfi..what the hell is happening to you. Ed Ross and You are my fav LF guys. When the large format is not working out, take a walk outside with a Leica or a m43 and keep blasting away! Photos all around us every day and every night. We just have to be on the lookout.
well - Leica's can't focus.... (or I can't make them...)...
my dry spell is about ALL photography... not only LF..
But with a bit of luck, I'll actually make a meaningful (for me) photo session tomorrow... it is all in my head - time will tell whether it stays there or not..
But thank you for your kind words.
She's good model, quite few of her pics were published. Here are few others (I may have already posted some of those)

Emil, Id like to see your interpretation of this theme ( or twisted a bit your way :) )

I bet the results will be spectacular.
Best regards
I made a few plates after seeing stuff like this on tumblr. Except I did "long exposures of artists having sex" lol using pornstars as performance artists......what a fail that small project was was....
Both are 8x10 tintypes
1) hint; female on top

2) hint; female on bottom

I have 5 images from this on my flickr but these are the only two I liked. And don't worry I didn't waste any real persons time with these besides mine...lol these are all long exposure tintypes via computer monitor.
Otherwise man...someone would need to have stamina/patience for 5 plates hahaha. Right after the exposure is done I pop in like Kanye West "Imma let you finish"...but I'm going to pour another plate!
That's why it's in the Lounge. The Tiny Formats thread is one of my all time favorites here. I think people who shoot LF often bring a different approach and look to their MF. At least that's my reasoning for why I like so many images in that thread. Whatever, I like it!
In reply to the multiple image nudes. I posted a 35mm version shot 1999, which could have been just as easily been done in any format. Since the nudity is so obscure I assume it is SFW.

Gelatin-silver photograph on Ilford MGIV VC FB photographic paper, image size 25.4cm X 20.3cm,

field view camera fitted with a Fujinon-W 300mm f5.6 lens. Signed, titled, and stamped verso.
There is a long tradition in photography where a person may deliberately undress to afford the photographer a motif
whereby the human form or the human condition may be inquired into. It is another thing that the subject is unclad
in any case; camera or no camera.
I started playing around with scratching the negative. I originally printed the B&W negative on color photo paper and diffused the image with scratched and smudged plastic under the lens. I still want to try some other things with this one.
"Kill Your Darling"... :) Love that technique...
If you want to play and don't really know what to do, you can use cigarette ashes (make the emulsion side damp - then add a little cigarette ashes and use your fingers to gently spread it while the emulsion dries... This way you can actually remove it again if the result is not to your liking (just rinse it under tempered water...))
Thank you I'll give it a try
here are some images for inspiration (maybe).. All "Killed"

And here's a little writing on what to try out...

My fault, I was using the tapatalk app and so went to "web view" and the link worked. So now my question is, why would you get arrested for that? The most that could happen was getting in trouble with the school if someone saw, but not arrested... And if anything she would be arrested not you LOL
Terry wrote that. I was not worried about a thing. I shook that school up in a good way. There's a lot more to my story. I may have already wrote this, but that is 16 low power automatic flashes with a SB28, a new feature then. The wet platers could do the same with more power.
she has absolutely terrific............freckles
great work
