That sort of thing, along with pick-ups stuck in the sand with the tide coming in -- people grabbing their gear out of it before it was too late. Or the fisherman with poles walking down the road as I was driving up towards the Jetty -- got to the bay mouth to see a car floating in the water. All a matter of timing. Guys in big trucks on the gravel down along the rivers...thinking power is the answer as the gravel gobbles their big tires. Someone's got to keep the tow truck drivers busy.
From my bike ride yesterday...Started down at the bottom of the valley, 3000' feet below...the Pacific beyond.

A break in the rain and finally a teaser spring-like day was cause for a hike to Snoqualmie Falls yesterday.

Hiked the garbage can to street and spotted my first flower in my yard minutes ago
We had 10 days no rain with human set forest fires
Now 7 days of heavy rain, this critter may wash out
