BTW, what size mat are you looking at for the 5x13 print?

Randy, I can't remember if I said this before, but this was printed on my Beseler 45mxt with Reinhold's custom 6x15 holder! I love that I can enlarge these negatives, unlike 617.

No I did not know about Reinhold’s carrier. Looking it up now.
What lens are you using?

I used an EL-Nikkor 150mm. I will have to see what the largest enlargement possible is. I can get a bit over 24" from 4x5 with my 135mm so probably close to that.

Update: Yep, I can print these negatives up to 24" wide with the 150mm, with a bit more left on the enlarger column if I need to crop a bit. And the 135mm works too without cutting into the negative, and gives me over 30" to play with. If I had the ability to print that size, anyway.

Try to find this table used. It ships knocked down. I found one a few years ago. It lets you remove the 4 quick release screws that hold the wood baseboard on.
Then you project your image onto the adjustable lower shelves. Really a cool feature the CB7 does not have.

Randy,
One of those tables just recently found its way into my basement! :)
Gotta figure out how exactly I will set it up. I have my MXT right now in the corner of the darkroom. I want to put the table in the center of the darkroom and build an "island" with more storage and another worktop on it, and move the enlarger there (gotta run some wires over and down as well). Then, I'll install the 45XL I bought earlier this year where the MXT is. Just gotta get the funds and time to put my plan into motion.
Besides which I don't have the money to buy a roll of 42" wide paper right now anyway. But when I do I definitely want to print BIG :).
