Abhishek, hard to believe you are a novice with 4x5! I hope you can tell us you've honed your eye for composition, and your technique with developing on other formats. Then I won't feel too bad about how far behind you I am.
Beautifully done. I love the tones and the real nice composition.
Thank you for the kind words Harley and Sly..
Well I am really a very newbie in Large Format as I have tried it only 2 times, this being the second time and I am hooked to it.
I don't use much of complicated process in development - Rodinal in 1:100 fro 1 hour in a jobo 2325 .
The above pic is a scanned copy in V750 although I have printed teh same in darkroom in FB paper .. Yet to upload the scan of the print..
Have been using Hasselblad for a year !!! Don't know what else to say other than I am flattered and honoured :)
Difficult to express such high appreciations.....
Hi, and welcome aboard. Nice shot.
However... You're waaaaaay over-developing.
Delta 100 in Rodinal 1:100 wants 18 minutes at 25 deg C (68 deg F) with minimal agitation.
I expect you're using too little Rodinal concentrate, and you're exhausting the entire volume.
Rodinal wants 10ml of concentrate for an 8x10 film.
That's any combination of films that can be proofed on one 8x10 paper, i.e. four 4x5 sheets or 1 roll of 120 or 35mm.
Rodinal produces very consistent results with excellent compensation when used as directed.

The tonal gradation is perfect and quite beautiful. Don't change a thing.
