Nice work! I agree, low down, different angles, isolating details - its the only way to shoot cars, especially at car shows.
One day I'll get my 4x5 out again, to point at the general direction of a car!

Great vintage car grille in the salvage yard near Fort Worth, Texas. Seroco 5x7 bellows camera - f/22 for about 1/30th second with Ilford FP4+ film.

Same camera - different salvage yard.
These two are fantastic.

Found this neat looking 1940's Dodge sedan in the salvage yard and captured the dash with my 4x5 Century drop bed camera with Tessar IIb lens in a Volute shutter. Exposure: f/32 for 1/4th second on Ilford FP4+.
My town's fire department rolled out their No. 1 engine for me to photograph. It's a modified 1919 Model T Ford which they bought new (raised the money by holding dances and raffles) and have owned ever since.
I took several photos, color, B&W, etc for our town's history which is being updated for the 250th anniversary in 2019. This truck doesn't get rolled out often *at all* (been maybe 20 years since the last time?), so it was a rare opportunity.
I was happy to see I nailed the exposure (I made some careful guessing).

Velvia and RED, now there's a match made in photo heaven. Tell your fire guys to fix that leaky radiator and use that thing. It needs to be seen a half dozen times a year. I'll bet there are some old car gearheads in town that would love to help. Very cute piece.
Thanks, Jim. It's not just the radiator (which is apparently a sieve), but the transmission as well.
The No. 2 (1929) and No. 3 (1939) get lots of airtime.
Oh boy! Do we get to see the '29 and the '39?
I'll bet the local MTFCA (Model T Ford Club America) chapter would come out and do it for you folks next summer when it's nice. Take advantage. People love working on that stuff.
Yes you do, but I took those photos last year with my plate camera and homemade plates.
In fact I posted them here in this forum and you've already seen them ! :)

Thanks for the tip...I've shot an email to the NH chapter.
