ULF films in 11x14/7x17/8x20/12x20 with a big tonal range. Or sell it in 7" to 12" rolls and we will cut it ourselves. Create an Azo replacement contact paper with similar range too...maybe even better? Emile/www.deleon-ulf.com

I'll second CSC's call for more film in readyload/quickload packets. Please!
Although my own needs are covered (thanks to Freestyle !), I am sure a lot of photographers would be pleased to be able to get more 5x7 films at a reasonable cost.

"[...] And, by the way, for some strange reason Fuji came out with Astia 100f and then made it impossible for anyone to get it. I bought 20 boxes of it as soon as it was available, and found it to be by far the best color film I have ever used. It has the full tonal range of negative film, soft and natural color, no color cast, amazing shadow and highlight detail, and it is significantly sharper and less grainy than any other color film ever made, even including Provia 100f. I don't know why the heck Fuji is still shipping 8x10 Provia and Velvia in mass quantities while not making any Astia 100f, considering that Astia 100f just blows both of those films right out of the water."
I don't know this film myself, but the quote sounds like you "only" need to talk Fuji into picking up an emulsion they already have in the vaults. This might make the project of a transparency film with a low gamma a little less unrealistic. Also, I feel, that many of the contributions in the 2 trannie threads support my believe that an emulsion that would combine a positive image with a wide contrast range would not have to rely on me alone as a customer. So maybe this dream can come true??
Good light - Hening.
When I wrote the above post, I had failed to check on Astia film. I can see that this emusion is in production in all confections, just "some sizes are not available in certain markets". I can also see on its density-vs.-exposure curve, that it never will record the tonal range now only found in negative film.
