Re: Show off your Large Format camera!
I got the 5 x 7 with a 4 x 5 reducing back. I picked up an 8 x 10 in good (but not pristine) condition a few years back - I was surprised at what a heavy beast it is - definitely not something you want to drag very far from your car (or mule if you have one - although the mule might balk at the weight) since the rear standard is supported by a very heavy chunk of metal.
One of these days I'll line up all six Linhofs for a group photo. Everything from a baby Technika 2 x 3 to the 8 x 10 Kardan Bi
Re: Show off your Large Format camera!
Jim, I would love to see your Linhof array. I will show mine one day.
Re: Show off your Large Format camera!
The "Baby" is off being refurbed as we speak. As soon as it comes home I will indeed photograph the "family"

Newly mounted 14" Dagor on the Deardorff 4x5 Special. Took a bit of work to mount to a 4x4 board but I think this will be a great lens for 5x7 portraits.
Re: Show off your Large Format camera!
not much to show for now as pictures have to come: yesterday my recently bought Linhof Kardan Color arrived. What a completely underrated camera this is!!! The front and rear stand are built like a tank, You can use the monorail to chase criminals although it might be too light for that. In practice I expect this set to fill up the gap between my Ebony SW45 and my Cambo 45SF: the Ebony is resticted in focal length, the Cambo due to it's weight.:)

Hello.
My first post here.
On Saturday I finally became the owner of a Sinar 4x5 F1 camera with Schneider lens (and a few other pieces thrown in).

Welcome to the obsession. Give it a couple of years and you'll have a veritable herd of them.
