Ray, I was about to say nice shadow and then I saw the second one. =)
anyways nice shadow and interaction in the first one. Also a striking wall to work with for background.
I think the second one has too much negative space.
Thank you for your comments Nicholas, I appreciate it. Perhaps a little burn in the lower right might help the second one. -Ray
