Son I was playing around with some DIY soft focus. I just used a piece of plexiglass and some Vaseline, I also stained the print with tea. This is on Ilford FB warmtone paper. My shutter is off so the negative was under exposed.

Judy's shoe collection as seen by my new Wollaston 100mm f:2.4 Soft Focus lens. Shot as a Paper Negative for a quick, simple tactic to check different levels of softness at various apertures. No filter, north window light, white card reflector from shadow side.
