Hi Darin. I'm a big fan of Jan Saudek. I don't associate this composition with his style. Do you have an image of his in mind? If so, I would love to see it. If anything, I'd say this is closer to Avedon's image, from the American West series, of the male hispanic with his shirt pulled over his head, although there is no knife in that shot.
