Hi, can you tell me how you achieved the out of focus effect on the bottom half of the first photo please? Is it by tilting forward at maximum aperture so that her eye was on the center point of the focus plane?

Judging by the sharp books in the bookcase the lens was actually tilted backwards/up.

Ah, so the focus was a few feet beyond the lady - and then a backward tilt?

Edit: looks like there's swing too....swung to the right, then tilted up
