That side of the country is a wonder to trip by: from Rio to Santos by the Atlantic Coast - Rio-Santos route.
I used to go several weekends by the year to Ubatuba, Parati and Angra dos Reis when living in Sao Paulo. There are several small bays and beaches by the road, that's a wonderful place to go in summer. Very phpto-friendly places, for sure,

Steam engine details: Afga G-plus x-ray, exposed at 50 ASA and developed 9 minutes in 1:100 R09.
