That last shot with the extra hat looks like somebody did something nasty to her legs, like chopped them off.
A casual observer won't realize what the hat is, nor why it's there.

Hi Leigh. No problem at all! I like the feedback. I realize it is absurd, but I think it works with the surrealist/cubist approach to the image. And I kinda like the visual symmetry it achieves. Anyway, thanks again!
Yeah. Given the rather unusual nature of the image as a whole, it works.
I doubt any viewer would glance at it and accept it as an accurate rendition of reality. :D

I'm not a big fan of the hat at the bottom either. I would like to see that bottom piece instead of the tip of the hat on top, it fills the top frame a little better. I agree that an extra frame on the bottom balances the composition, but I think it is one step too far.
You know Ed, I was playing with my screen and thought that just the three center plates (head, torso, hips/thighs) work well too.
