This photograph is lyrical with the repeated curves from her body to the furniture. There's also an overflowing sense of attitude that holds everything together. She does seem like a real woman, complicated, but someone with who a relationship might be doable! The polygonal rocks behind and the different pieces of cluttered furniture makes for an almost "cubist" background to her smoothly curvaceous body. You pulled it off! how did you come put this all together? Is the background real or a giant photograph? Also what is that diagonal line from upper left to about 1/4 of the way across the lower part, approaching in the direction of her right foot on the left side of the photograph??

Sorry guys, got disgruntled with Wet Plate and busy all at the same time and since this was all an experiment it took a back seat for awhile ;)

Yes, this is Liala, my favorite to work with by far, she can always pull it off and her attitude shows perfectly. The background is definitely real and will make a return appearance soon, like next week! I had a friend call saying he's getting married and his wife really digs my wet plates so I'm attempting to come out of retirement, I called these two and before I knew it we have an army of these sweethearts showing up next weekend, hope my mix comes together well! here's a couple more of my other favorite attitude rich ladies

Thanks Serge ... this is what the work is about ... working with somewhat unpredictable film and making creative use out of it. Each box of 809 has its own character (color cast, developer aging/viscosity, impressions, ) and that somewhat impacts how I use it

This thread is already filled with whacking material billed as "art" followed by comments from men about photos of naked women, with nothing but words about the "physical body attributes" and none about photography -

However - comments like the one above cement the idea that this thread, created by males, showing naked women and drooling over them has nothing to do with photography, art, or large format, other then the physical attributes that just happen to be that they are photographed in large format:

Read - if this was a not attractive female showing her breasts one would only like this second best, but a more attractive female in digital would go the whole way for me.
