It's incredible how they work in this image.
Thank you! John, the "folds" are streaks apparently caused by a secondary surface development of silver water (aka, veiling). Much of the veiling wipes away because it is surface, above the actual image, but where it is deep one is left with these fold marks. It's something that I've only encountered in ULF, and seems related to the distance/exhaustion of the developer as I pour it on the plate (in this image, left to right, top to bottom). I need to make some experiments, probably with diluted developer, to see if I can address the phenomenon. I'm glad you like them!! Ramiro, some of the models really do. And those models I usually give a plate or two at the end of the shoot. Thanks again! Ed
