I like visiting off-beat shops, usually when I'm traveling. The tophat I got in Australia, the bowler in Vienna, a fur hat in the Carpathians, chaps in Reno, the Harlequin hat and collar (not vintage) in SF (that wasn't travel), neckless in Tunis, etc. The M1 Carbine is mine, thanks to my dad. But most of the stuff I pick up is limited to hats and off-beat accoutrements. The models usually bring a bag of stuff, lingerie and "close-fit" stuff like corsets or stockings. When we did the Harlequin shoot I suggested that we do a follow-up Pierrot shoot, and the model found a wonderful seamstress to make us the outfit (for free!, though I didn't get to keep it). I'm always looking for new concepts; shooting is always on my mind. And, no, no woman is helping me -- so thanks. And I'm not metro-sexual, for the record ;)
