When one becomes immune to images of breasts and so-forth what is left of the nude image?
We would expect something original, but it does not occur here.
Making the image 'antique like' is no salvation from the underlying mundane reality.

Some of the pictures here are images of contortions under under amateur lighting and more are almost forensic - Like is that person alive?

There is a certain commonality to humans sans clothing.

Eh, there's a certain commonality to humans in general, yet we manage to get a huge range of portraiture.

IMHO there is some fantastic nude work being displayed at photo.net. Certainly there are a handful of regulars that post the same-old "competent" it's-imaginative-the-first-time or borderline-porn stuff, but there are frequently truly new things appearing. For example.

Overall, I thought they were fun. Conceptual work is very challenging, and I applaud their efforts.

I enjoyed them too, but we have to keep the syntax in mind here. The expectation, here, is that the images are done in the context of Large Format Photography. A Canon EOS 5D is another kettle of fish. and would be in a different thread, if not a different forum.
