I live in the West now but get to New England every summer...
Thank you Mark for your kind comments. Some of my work is on exhibit at the Lyman Allyn Museum in New London CT thru August 19th. I’ll have a dozen prints in a Large Format Exhibition at Camera Commons immediately following the Lyman show with an Artist Reception on September 30th in Dover, New Hampshire and I am in talks with the Rhode Island Photographic Arts Gallery for a future show. Thanks again for your interest in my work.

These two images will conclude my 7x17" imagery for 2018. I was quite happy with the 1st one I took in 2015, I returned the next winter for more interesting ice patterns, the temperature dropped overnight to minus 10 or more and the fast moving Mattabassett Creek froze solid. With 6 or more layers of clothing on I was commited to making a photograph in 2016 and the result is shown in the bottom image.
7x17" Phillips camera, Ilford FP 4 film, Minimally Agitated in PyroCat HD. Printed on Ilford Warmtone, Split toned in Thiourea and Selenium

Haven’t gone “click” for a year now.
Thanks for the guilt-trip, Steve, but thanks moreso for the kick in the pants to get back out.
This really is my favourite thread here!

Nice fresh interpretation of a well-worn subject.

The shadow/reflection interaction in #2 makes it - good work!
