I love how the blue of the water is mirrored in the geological layers that appear to be blue-grey.

So a few quick questions -
could you have done the same with slide film (Velvia, Provia - am I correct that Kodak has no E6 film available on the market currently?!?), I'm thinking of the dynamic range in the scene and nice balance you achieved.
Were the colors like that in the scene, or have you tweaked them in post? They're beautiful, almost unreal. Maybe the light is like that there.

I don't think I could have achieved this scene with slide film. It was like a 15 min exposure accounting for reciprocity. Slide film is very unforgiving whereas Negative film, especially Portra are very forgiving and have gobs of range. The sun had set and it was getting dark quickly.

The reason I call this semiFinal are there a few things I am not sure I like about this image I may correct (some dark spots) and the crop. I like it, but it also works if I take a little off the top.
