Wanderlust 4x5 P&S

Why not just carry full extra grafmatics? Saves time and trouble. I would not consider carrying loose septums with film in them... scratches and dust would be an issue. The only thing I want in an improved grafmatic would be capacity for 10 sheets in the same amount of space and weight.

I am hoping to have it in my hands before I go to Japan in December... this summer would be even better so I can work out all the kinks.

One thing I really do hope about the deliveries is that when they start that they are NOT made on the baby who screams loudest gets fed first basis. Each should go out in accordance with the date its backer made the pledge...

I have a strong suspition that we will not see any cameras in the hands of backers until September. They have not sent out the adress confirmation inquiry yet and the final PO's were only sent out about 3 weeks ago. They still have to be made, sent back to them and then final assembly and shipping. Those last parts could take 6 to 12 weeks to arrive.

Not to mention on May 19, film taken with a final production camera was sent to a lab to develop. Scans were going to be posted. That was 3 weeks ago.

I'll admit that I'm a little frustrated with the delay, but they seem really close, unless some light leak problem cropped up during the production test. I hope that's not the case.

Things could always be worse. I hope we hear something soon. I get the feeling that WanderLust cameras is not their full time occupation so they may be facing a time crunch.
