Rittreck View 5x7 with (writing-on-front) Fujinon SWD 75mm f5.6 lens. Film is probably Shanghai GP3100 developed in Kodak HC-110, possibly in a BW King 5x7 tank using inversion, and some time before I got my quality under control.
The first version Fujinon SWD 75mm f5.6 lens has an image circle of 200mm which is just a couple of mm short of covering 5x7. In this image I must have moved the lens up a bit because the top corners show vignetting while the bottom corners do not: the rise was probably to avoid the front bed. On 5x7 the 75mm lens is a full-frame-equivalent of 16mm, and the Rittreck can use the short lens on a flat board.

Referring to Alessandro Bocchi's post above:
Very nice. Especially like how the out of focus areas add to the picture - showing a depth but not distraction.
I have a personal theory that the older Symmar convertible lenses are especially good at this because they are symmetrical and not as highly corrected as the later lenses. Of course the lens opening selected affects the depth of field also.
Stunning work! 5x7 and half plate are my favourite sizes, I just love the dimensions. I don't care much for 5x4 and 8x10, too stubby for me so I sometimes guillotine my 10x8s!

A very recent platinum/palladium print of a local band, Cadillac Ranch. The 5x7 neg is a couple years old and I still want to print a couple more copies for the band. Out of the four negs exposed in this pose, this was the only one where all members were still enough. Available light on what I believe is TMax400 (dated 03/2011), developed in PyrocatHD. Base fog/stain not too bad. I can not find the data. 5x7 Eastman View No.2, most likely taken with my Fuji W 180mm. A tight space, but love the roses!
