There's a saying about lemons and lemonade that applies to my recent trip out to Yosemite NP in northern Calfornia. I had clear skies and smoke in the park to contend with so I did the best I could. Here's a frontlit shot from Valley View right on the Merced River. Chamonix 045-F1 field camera, Fujinon 90mm lens, Ektar 100 film.

Thank you, BJ.
Nice one, perhaps a square crop to get rid of some of the bare sky? It'll also accentuate the reflection symmetry.

I like your image, also. The shapes of the sky and of the sunlit grass in the foreground work well together. My eye is lead into the center of the image, but with some interesting tension between the two tall trees in the center portion of the image. A simple scene in the woods, yet the image actively invites the viewer to step in...nevermind the foxtails one will have to pull out of ones socks.
Thomas -- I was just there recently. Nicely done!
Another one from Mallorca. This time one of my rare shots on negative film, Fuji Pro 160 NS, 210mm, Tetenal C41 kit, Heidelberg Tango drumscanner:
