Mine arrived this morning. I've never used a Phillips design before, and I'm quite impressed.
Unlike my Ebony, the Sinar Zoom fits properly in the film holder slot.
Best,
Helen

It's like watching a big pile of kids on Christmas morning under the Christmas tree, except this gets spread out over the world, three nations as far as I can see:D
I got to see the Chamonix in China while back, it indeed is an elegant little thing; never thought the day I call a 45 a little thing:D
Happy holidays everyone, and for god sake post pictures, lots of it soon. It may convince me to pick up one of its bigger brother.

Hugo ... I think my Chamonix 8 x 20 needs a little brother!!

YAAAHHH!! I can't wait! #028 Maple and Black...thanks to Jack Flesher's posts.
It has been so long since I've shot large format...been busy with my Air Force career (23+ years...retiring next year!!) and finishing up a bachelor of science in electrical engineering. I'm really looking forward to getting back into LF photography. I've got a Nikon 90mm f/4.5, a Schneider 210 Symmar-S and a Nikon 300m(thanks Vinny!!). Now I have to see if any of the old film I have is still good? It should be good for tests/practice.

We have also some requests for maple 4x5 film holders to match the cameras.
