Please need your help to identify these two film types

Hello to you all.

Hoping you are enjoying LF photography as much as I do.
I bought two cameras that came with loaded film holders, if you are similar to me (and I believe you are) if you bought a camera with exposed film in it you’ll want to get them developed and try to return any valuable memories to whom belong.

So I have a bunch 4x5 film holders with two cameras that I bought, the holders are loaded with film, some indicating that they were exposed, and some not. I want to develop these and send to persons who sold the cameras any images I can get from them.

Attached you can see a corner with the notches.

A lot of information can be found by doing a google search for "sheet film notches". You should be able to find the info there.

the first one might be tmx(100)
the rounded ones might be an agfa film or something made by "defender"

According to this url (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Notch_code), the triangular notch is Super-XX Pan 4142, but it could be T-Max 100 Professional 5052, depending on the distance of the notches. And the curved film could be Separation Negative 4133, Type 2, but the url is in ASCII format, so it's hard to tell. I did use the Wayback Machine, and went to the AGFA website (Nov 18, 2010) and two curved notches seem to indicate Agfapan APX 100. (https://web.archive.org/web/20101118...et_F_PF_E4.pdf)
I guess it boils down to the question, "Do you remember buying any of these films?"

Richard do you know how you are going to develop the sheets ?

I tried that already without much luck since all notches I found where from very old film and also seems different manufacturers uses the same notches on different films types.

You always have the option of stand dev (in rodinal for example). You won't get the optimum contrast, but you will probably get an image?

I'd stay away from stand developing with grainy, low activity developers like rodinal, and I'd stay away from anything with Vit C in it if the film is "aged" and has "fog" you will be hosed ..and w/o contrast
the best kind of development for unidentified film .. active and in the developer not very long. if you're in love with stand development
newspaper photographers used to stand their films in straight dektol / d72 for 3 mins, it gave them what they needed to send the glossy to the press
you could do this with ansco 130 too (if that's what you have lying around), the problem with stand (unless you have hangers or a tank ) is the film bows in a tray so it can be tricky
I've been using a universal developer like those in one way or another since the 90s ( 1000s sheets/rolls ) 1:6 for about 7-8 mins will probably give you great negatives for prints / scans. tmx over exposed 1 stop 1:6 for 8.5 mins was my go to exp/development for azo grade 3 contact prints for HABS.. good luck!

Where did you buy the camera from? Can you back search the owner from them and ask?
