Is the WTB subforum dead?
The "Wanted to buy" section seems a bit of a dead end to me. Ads receive about 20 views on average. I personally happened to place the same ad here and on a French forum, I went from 20 to 200 views, so much more likely to find what I'm looking for.
Wouldn't it make more sense to bring the section back to the For Sale section as it was before?

I didn't even know WTB was a separate subforum. Today I Learned...

You need to be brought up to date regarding the Forum Rules. At the top of the forum page, click on the tab that says "Forum Guidelines", then scroll down to the paragraph that says "Wanted to Buy" and note the part that says "Replies or bump posts by the OP and replies by other members to threads in the WTB subforum are disabled. All queries in response to a listing must be made via PM or, if the member has enabled it, regular email." That's why you no longer see any replies to you posts.

Andrea is talking about views, not replies.

Re: Is the WTB subforum dead?
I find the title of the post in the WTB section generally more than sufficient. So,why bother opening or viewing it?
And I'd still do the same even if it were in the for sale section where I often do the same.
Mind you, come to think of it, don't we all just view the posts that interest us, across the whole forum?
