Thesis Exhibit, the last one, LUCAD in Cambridge MA
As the title reads, the final thesis exhibit is up at Lesley College of Art and Design Under Arts Center 1801 Massachusetts Ave Cambridge. It's at Porter Square right next to the old Sears Building (Porter Exchange ), and runs April 11-21. This is the final MFA Photography and Integrated Media Thesis Exhibit, and the end of an era. If you aren't familiar with LUCAD, it the MFA Photography program that Christopher James directed ( 2011-2024 ). It is well worth the visit, I went to the opening and it was great.

The MFA Photography and Integrated Media Thesis Exhibit is an exhibition of works by graduating students in the Department of Photography, Video, and Related Media. The works are presented in a variety of mediums, including print photography, painting, sculpture, installation, and moving image. The artists use these mediums to create distinctive statements about the world and our relationship with it.
The 2023 exhibit featured the work of 16 graduates, curated by Nat Trotman, Curator, Performance and Media, Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, New York. The artists used a range of mediums, including print photography, painting, sculpture, installation, and moving image.
The 2024 exhibit will feature the work of seven graduating students, including Jacqueline Arias, Nathan Cordova, Drew Grella, Hanan Khatoun, Tessa Laslo, Anita Maksimiuk, and Dana Smith.

I went to it; nothing about it had anything to do with AI, the exhibit, the candidates, the guests, the photographs presented, nothing.

Perhaps Tin Can was referring to AI having generated the exhibit overview/description above.

I haven't seen this ~~~~\o/~~~~~/\~~~~~ before. What is that? /\ could be the cosmological constant ? but not sure what the rest is.

Michael,
It seems like you're in over your head; like the drowning man in the graphic :) Maybe it's Hubble?

Doremus thanks - I see it now. I will count this as one of my blunders :)

it's a shark attack !
AI is the SHARK ..
problem is people are too emo about the whole AI tech thing
deadman's float and playing possum works every time ...

I don’t know… that doesn’t look like a very convincing shark, although maybe it’s one of those things AI isn’t good at like fingers. I kind of prefer my version though where it’s a drowning guy being chased by lambda/dark energy.
