I've done several searches and found some information scattered around the forums but I'm looking for some opinions on where to find some of the better frame liners. I found several sites among the web but the fabric is horrendous, reminds me of greyhound seats. After doing some research I think I'm looking for a high thread count linen or silk. I know I could wrap my own, which is always an option but I'm new to the framing of my images so I'd like to outsource the first few frames so I could deconstruct the process as per my learning style. What are your favorite methods\sites\options for frame liners?

I know paper stock matting is always an option but I'm framing large 60"+ panoramic photos. I was in the local Peter Lik gallery and I really enjoy how his liners look. Anyways, your thoughts and opinions would be greatly appriciated.

Larson Juhl has locations around the country. Any wholesale framing supplier should have nice liners.

Most frame shops I assume could do what I'm looking for. I'm down in Key West though and the supplies is incredibly lacking. This is what I'm looking at when I mean frame liner... 89365 the black cloth covered wood mat like layer between the image and the frame..
